Websites that work well and don’t
For this assignment I choose 3 websites that I though worked best and I also choose 3 websites that I thought did not. Here are my reasoning’s:
I believe Facebook is a website that works well because it’s clear to understand how to use the website. All the content on the website is organized. The website does not contain lots of information. This website is a good website to keep in touch with your family and friends all across the world. Facebook has a good interface that is pleasing to the eye and is a very organized website. The navigation on Facebook is really easy to use and almost anyone who has computer knowledge can use this website and figure it out for themselves there first use.

The next website I choose that I thought worked and presented it self well was the Barbie website. When you first get to the homepage it’s nice, bright and pink. The interface of the website catches the viewers eye the first time you look at it. The content on the page represents about what the product is they’re trying to sell which is Barbie’s. The Barbie website is easy to navigate and work with. The Barbie website is also user friendly so anyone can go on it and figure out how to use it in seconds. Bonus to this website is there is games, tones of information and a virtual world to understand the product a lot better.

The third website I choose that I thought worked well was EBAY.com. I believe this website works well because it presents itself good. The content presented on this webpage is just enough to get the information that you need. The whole website is about buying things online so you do not need to go into a store to purchase it. You can buy almost any thing off of EBAY. By having this website it is convenient for customers because they don’t even need to leave there house in order to purchase an item needed for everyday living. The navigation on the website is easy to use and almost any person can figure out how to use EBAY. The interface on EBAY is pleasing to the eye.

The first website that I choose that I did not think worked well was 2advanced.com. On this website there is far too much information to understand what the website is talking about. The content on this site goes far into to much detail making it hard for the customer to understand. The interface on this website is to cluttered. The colour design on this website is not simple and very confusing to read the information because of all the background imagery. This website just seams very disorganized with far too much information making the website slow to download when you are entering the website.

The second website I choose was Porn websites in general. I believe porn websites should not be on the Internet because anyone can look at them. Most porn websites you open are full of viruses. When someone opens a porn website the only thing that shows up it naked picture after naked picture which I believe is inappropriate for young viewers who use the Internet to see. The interface on a Porn website is not pleasing to the eye and its very disorganized filled with too many pictures on naked people.
The third website I choose that I believe does not work well is Koodo.com. The Website has far too much information on the site causing the site to be extremely slow. When a customer is trying to do banking or change something about their account usually it will take a few days until it will finally load fully to your computer. Koodo has far too much information on there website and it make the website not look presentable to the eye. The navigation is not easy to use there is far to many buttons and passages you need to click in order to figure out how to pay your phone bill online. This website does not present itself well.
